Formed in the late 80s, Nirvana members included Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) and Krist Novoselic. Due to Cobain’s death in 1994, the band only spent three years as a mainstream act.

With their top songs including ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit,’ ‘Heart Shaped Box’ and ‘Come As You Are,’ there is no doubt that Nirvana are one of the most globally recognised rock bands. They achieved four number one albums in the US.
