With an initial line up of Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, Paul Stanley and Ace Frehey, Kiss were formed in New York City in 1973. They are very well known for their bold outfits and face paint, though there was a period of over a decade in the 80s and 90s where they performed ‘unmasked.’

In 2019, Kiss embarked on their final tour called ‘End of the Road World Tour.’ Their logo was designed by guitarist Frehey – he made the ‘SS’ look like lightning bolts.
